Located 60 kilometers north of Chiang Mai, the Mae Ngat Reservoir spans 18 kilometers across the Sirilanna National Park. A skilled kayaker can traverse this distance through lush jungles and expansive open waters. The usually calm conditions allow us to enter the reservoir from the east and paddle past group of floating house boats towards the Mea Ngat Valley.
As we bask in the coolness of the lake, we'll make a stop at the floating restaurant to enjoy lunch and refreshments. For those feeling adventurous, a diving tower awaits for a refreshing dip. After a well-deserved break, we'll continue towards the west end of the lake, taking in the breathtaking views of the Mae Ngat Valley and the Sirilanna National Park along the way.
